The Abbotsford Convent was a hive of activity during the open day last 4 November. The creative studios and the wellness centre doors were open to visitors as the Shadow Electric played music all day in the gardens. Some of the spaces were transformed as part of an art trail, and exhibitions were on show at the galleries.The literary scene was well represented with a Book & Zine Fair, while workshops ranging from design to jewellery making took place. At the oratory, dancers delighted audiences with their live performance. Food was in abundance from award winning chefs to staples such as Convent Bakery. Is there a similar community where you live?
