Festival of Sails is an annual event that has a long history going back as far as 1844. It takes place during the Australia Day weekend (photos were taken on the 24th of January), and bears the distinction as the largest keel boat regatta in the Southern Hemisphere. There are 4,000 competitors and 350 yacht entries that flock to Geelong to participate on-water in more than 15 different race series from trailable cruisers to Grand Prix racers.  Do share in the comments below if you find sailing enjoyable.
