Bright is a popular tourist attraction best known for its autumn leaves from the European trees that have been planted in the area. It is located near several national parks, mountain, and ski resorts. It is in close proximity to the Victorian Alps. There are many lookouts scattered throughout the nearby mountains that provides scenic views of the town and nearby forests. The one that can easily be reached is Huggins Lookout, which is 3 km from the town centre.

What a beautiful post, we love Bright and spent a few days there this time last year, it was not quite s ‘bright’ as it is for you now! We did some lovely birding there, lots of Satin Bowerbirds there.with bowers along the Ovens River.
