The Jewish Holocaust Centre (JHC) offers the unique experience of hearing eyewitness accounts from Holocaust survivors who volunteer as guides in the Museum. Learn about events of the Holocaust from those who were there.

Along with artefacts collected from Melbourne’s Holocaust survivor community, archival footage and state-of-the-art technology, a visit to the JHC is a moving experience.

In 2010 the Centre’s museum, went through a complex up-grade resulting in the re-housing of photographs, artworks and text, highlighting their wealth of original material from the Holocaust period, and adding state-of-the-art technology.

A visit to the Jewish Holocaust Centre is a deeply touching and paradoxically uplifting experience, as you will witness the strength of human resilience in the face unimaginable horror.
