More than half a million colourful tulips are in full bloom at the Teselaar Tulip Festival, an annual event that dates back to 1854. Visitors take the trip  delight in viewing over a hundred variety of tulips on the 55 acre working farm that is conveniently in Silvan, near Melbourne. Sculptural works by contenders from the Association of Sculptors of Victoria competition are on display annually at the festival. There are theme days and weekends that feature multicultural food, market stalls, live music, and dance shows for four weeks.
